Therapeutic Massage
Massage therapy is a timeless artform assisting the body’s ability to relax, release musculoskeletal tensions, calming the nervous system, and assisting the vital force to strengthen. I utilized all the forms of massage that I have learned over the years to customize the massage to your needs, including deep tissue and swedish tequniques. I use hot towels during the session to assist the nervous system to relax.
Ashiatsu
Ashiatsu Oriental Barefoot Bar Therapy is one of the deepest, most luxurious massage you will find. It’s smooth and deep compression pressure using the sole, pads and surface of the therapist’s feet. The ashiatsu bars on the ceiling are used by the therapist to tempo the pressure and depth during the treatment. If you like a good myofacial massage you will love shiatsu. Once you try it, you won’t go back!
Ashiatsu is a Japanese word that means “Ashi” = foot, “atsu”= pressure.
Hot Stone Massage
The art using hot stones to assist the healing process is an ancient technique used by many cultures all over the world, including Native American sweat lodges, Hawaii’s Lomilomi massage, and throughout the Orient & Brazil. Hot Stone Therapy helps to relax tension held in the joints and muscles, softening and toning the muscular structure & easing mental vitality. Using the stones in combination with massage brings a spiritual element that opens the bodies energy channels. The polarity aspect of the stones moves stagnant energy and allows the vital force to to flow in areas it may have been blocked.
